I love my job. No if, and or but, I love my job.

I have been am blessed to be working in an environment where art and creativity are at the forefront of every project, thought, meeting, etc. I work for an institution of higher-education that has distinguished its self like no other, a university for creative careers. Each day is unique from the previous, a new opportunity or challenge that provides an incredible sense of fulfillment. Not to brag, but I have a pretty stellar job.

Yet I face a problem that plagues many, there are simply not enough hours in the day.

Outside work I find myself looking for avenues to find, share, create, research, learn, etc. I obsess over antiques, architecture, paintings, furniture, fabric, fashion, books, blogs, etc. Whether I particularly enjoy a design or not, I adore dissecting its intriguing elements. Half Past Five is a nook, a small, tiny blip on the internet radar where I plan to cultivate and share my interests. If this minute crack in the blog'sphere reaches anyone, I hope he or she enjoys!
